I am a classically-trained pianist, high-flying aerialist, and results-obsessed consultant...
Five years ago, I left a career in management consulting to follow my dream and pursue a career as an aerialist (I know, I know. I ran away to join the circus).
But fulfillment is complicated, and I am still passionate about helping organizations achieve their goals. I love helping companies to structure, define, and solve their biggest commercial problems, and I thoroughly enjoy crunching numbers and analyzing them to tell a story. Now, though, I also tell stories on a different stage - on a flying trapeze, on aerial silks, and on the piano.
MOVEMENT
I perform and choreograph ground and aerial movement to share compelling, thought-provoking stories.
My background in jazz, modern, and ballet gives me a wide vocabulary to my movement - both in the air and on the ground. I also believe that music should be partnered closely with movement, and I strive to relate the shape of the sound with the shapes I create with my body and the apparatus.
I am available for bookings, instruction, and choreography.
MUSIC
As a performer, I create programs that tell a story or explore a common theme. Where it further improves the music, I try to expand the sensory experience by pairing the music with nature, art, dance, or even food.
I also enjoy helping others enhance their own musicality. I start by working with students to unlock the big-picture and intention behind the notes, and then I focus them on understanding the details, establishing the technical building blocks needed to perform a masterpiece.
I am available for bookings and instruction.
CONSULTING
In my time as a management consultant, I built a career helping organizations make complex decisions that define their long-term strategy or improve short-term financial performance.
While my work in consulting spanned eight industries and included functional work across all aspects of an organization, I particularly specialized in helping Retail, Consumer Product, and Not-for-Profit Organizations use technologies to improve the ways that they reach their customers and run their business.
