Movement

My foundation in jazz, modern dance, and ballet allows me to bring a wide vocabulary to my movement in the air and on the ground.  

My philosophy aims to partner the body with music -- I workstrive to matching body shapes to the shapes of the sounds. I love telling stories with movement, often finding inspiration from lyrics, literature, and or film.  

In addition to performing, I enjoy coaching others to explore the different ways they can work with their apparatus to express themselves and bond more closely to music. My workshops on fabric (designed for intermediate students) teach simple, inventive sequences to choreographed counts in music.

I am available for bookings, instruction, and choreography.
